#myhcpcstandards is a programme of webinars and in-person workshops that explore the different requirements placed on registrants and which are set out in the HCPC’s standards, specifically how to achieve and embed them in practice. They support registrant development and can count towards registrants’ CPD. Two #myhcpcstandards online webinars are planned for November 2022:
These webinars explore requirements relating to HCPC standards of conduct, performance and ethics. Registrants can browse the subjects, dates and times and sign up via the HCPC website.
On the HCPC website you’ll also find further information on the changes, and support on meeting standards, as well as the Registrant Hub (www.hcpc-uk.org/registrants), which brings together news, information and events relevant for HCPC registrants.
- Employer Insights
The Employer Insights webinars are designed to support employers and managers of HCPC registrants. Like the rest of the HCPC’s support provision for employers they aim to improve approaches, support decision-making and promote positive and inclusive professional
working environments for the benefit of registrants and service users. The webinars are part of a wider support provision for employers, which can be accessed through the HCPC website’s employer hub.
Between October and November 2022, webinars are planned on the following dates:
- 16 November 2022: Fitness to practise

Extension of the Temporary Register
On Thursday 22 September, government announced that the healthcare professions temporary registers, including the HCPC COVID-19 Temporary Register, will remain open for a further two years. The temporary registers had been due to close on 30 September 2022.
For those on the COVID-19 Temporary Register this means that they will be able to practise using their professional title after 30 September 2022. HCPC Standards will continue to apply to those individuals practising using their professional title while on the COVID-19 Temporary Register. Read the Government’s announcement.
In light of this extension, HCPC will be reviewing its approach to regulating the COVID-19 Temporary Register. For those on the Temporary Register who are looking to return to the main HCPC Register, more information about how to do this can be found on the HCPC website.
