This month, we have features focusing on World Sleep Day, Endometriosis Action Month and assistive technology and inclusive design:

World Sleep Day
- This World Sleep day RCOT launched our next Lift Up Your Everyday theme – Sleep and shared expert occupational therapy advice for sleep to support people facing challenges and to raise the profile of occupational therapy. And Helen McNamara, an occupational therapist who specialises in sleep and insomnia, talks about this emerging role in this practice area, and calls for further education.
Endometriosis Action Month
- Samantha Tavender reflects on her own personal journey as an occupational therapist living with endometriosis and calls on everyone to learn more about it and think about what you might do differently in practice.
Assistive technology and inclusive design
- Luke Thompson, the assistive technology lead and OT at The Pace Centre, and colleagues explain the work involved in developing switch interventions targeted at children and young people and their families.
- Occupational therapist Anne Lofthouse talks about her involvement in a collaboration to develop a sensitive touch switch for adults in specialist neurological rehabilitation and the positive results for everyone involved.
