Digital only resources

All the campaign resources are digital and can be downloaded from this page. Over the last few years, we’ve moved the OT Week campaign online as part of our commitment to sustainability and focusing on delivering impact. By taking the campaign online, not only has it meant we’re more sustainable, but we’ve also made a bigger measurable impact. This means that there are no printed resources or merchandise.

Download full resource packs

You can download the full resource pack as a zip file. If this doesn’t work for you, you can also download the resources individually.

Most resources are available in English and Welsh, where there are only English version (resources for members rather than public facing) these have been included in the Welsh download.

Graphics for social and documents

These graphics are to share on your social media platforms.  The portrait graphics are for stories on Facebook and Instagram. The square graphics work best in posts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X/Twitter.

When you share the graphics on social media, add a message about occupation, why occupation is essential to living and how focusing on occupation makes a difference to the people you work with. You could also share stories of the impact you’ve made by focusing on occupations. In the narrative you will also find suggested text to use.

When you share remember to always use #OTWeek23.

At the end of November, take a photo and share on what you’ve done on social media using #OTWeek23

Narratives

The narratives help you talk consistently about occupations, in the context of occupational therapy.

There are different versions of the narrative:

  • text for posts on social media
  • script to introduce occupations in 30 seconds
  • prompts for conversations
  • stories to bring occupations to life

Briefing, evidence and reading

The briefing highlights how important occupation is in occupational therapy and gives guidance on how to keep a focus on occupation in your practice. The evidence summary can be used to support discussions about occupations, shaping innovative occupation-focussed service delivery or building a business case for quality improvements. Students, learners and educators might also find it useful as a summary of the current research. The reading list covers a range of e-books about occupation that are in our digital library.

  • Occupations reading list.pdf (PDF, 103.86KB)
  • Occupation-centered practice briefing.pdf (PDF, 138.26KB)
  • Occupations evidence summary.pdf (PDF, 282.84KB)

Five-minute reflection tool

This reflection tool will help you capture your thoughts and record your learnings from OT Week. You might want to reflect on the week overall, a conversation you had with a colleague, what you took away from the Breaking barriers event, and how this has prompted your learning. You can complete the tool more than once if you have lots of activities you would like to reflect on.
