RCOT Leadership Forum events and Network
If you’re a senior leader or decision maker, get involved in our RCOT Leadership Forum.
Steve Ford, Chief Executive, and Karin Orman, Director – Practice and Innovation, will be hosting a series of discussion events throughout 2022 about how we can support you and lead the profession boldly with a stronger voice.
Together, we’ll discuss the role of occupational therapy, our positioning in the UK’s health and care and other systems, and current and future workforce needs.
You’ll be able to tell us about current and emerging themes and discuss how we can support you and future leaders.
Our next event
Data gathering: evidencing our value
Tuesday 13 September, 12.30–1.30pm – online
Book your free place
Join us at our next forum where we’ll look at data gathering and how it’s everyone’s business. It’s vital that we can evidence occupational therapy’s value. Our RCOT data and innovation strategy 2021–2023 recommends a tiered approach to improving the quality of occupational therapy data. Our recent data literacy survey identified eight goals for the profession. At this forum, you’ll be able to discuss with other leaders how these goals can be achieved across the profession.
Book your free place by 6pm on Monday 12 September 2022.
Get involved if you’re a senior leader who is or has been a registered occupational therapist – including if you:
- are a director or commissioner of services
- work in the NHS at Band 8 or above
- are a principal occupational therapist
- head an occupational therapy HEI learner or research programme
- run a company employing other occupational therapists
- have a leadership role within a government department.
