Odeth Richardson, Chair of Council and Steve Ford, Chief Executive of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT), have paid tribute to Her Majesty, The Queen:
“We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty, The Queen. On behalf of our members, we will be sending our condolences to the Royal Family.”
“Her Majesty’s many years of dedicated service and loyalty have been an inspiration to many. We are proud that Her Majesty saw fit to grant us permission to use our ‘Royal’ title in April 2017. She did this as a testament to the hard work, dedication, and highest level of professional standards which our members demonstrate day in, day out. We are grateful that she bestowed this honour on RCOT, it has helped our profession to influence health and social care policy.”
