Thanks for Coming – Restoration through Relaxation and Connections Event

A huge thank you to our attendees and speakers for our September Event in Malone House. It was wonderful to meet all who attended, we’ve had some fabulous feedback from the event.
Participants practiced some occupational participation in leisure and self-care. A special thank you to our vendors – Catherine and Sinéad for bringing us such restorative yoga practise and fun engagement in art.

Thank you to our speakers from Head Office in RCOT - Ketan Davé, Equity, Diversity and Belonging Lead who taught us to think genuinely about equity, diversity and the people we work with; and Nikki Daniels, Head of Communities and Connections for sharing with us how the structure of RCOT communities is changing for the better.

Here are some of the comments we received from those who attended:
“I will be aware about how I can be equitable in the way I approach my practice. I will also pay attention to my own mental health and use the things I enjoy to keep myself in balance, such as the yoga and breathing techniques. I have met some lovely people today that I hope I will bump into again in my career!”
“I really enjoyed the day, thank you so much for putting it on! Looking forward to attending the next event soon hopefully :)”
