Access Independent – Major adaptations in occupational therapy practice – R1310

This course is aimed at Occupational Therapists new in the area of major adaptation recommendation and preparation, sharing knowledge gained over many years of working as an Occupational Therapist in Adult Social Care. Topics include relevant legislation; scale drawings; bathrooms; internal and external access solutions; considerations when designing for wheelchair users. The course includes online presentations and practical tasks and is spread over two separate days.
