The Learning and development standards for pre-registration education describe the expectations of the profession that education providers must meet when delivering a pre-registration occupational therapy programme in the United Kingdom.
Pre-registration doctoral level route
In 2022, after carefully considering the different views and findings from our community discussion events, we decided to support the addition of a pre-registration doctoral-level entry route into the occupational therapy profession in the UK.
