Annual Report of Council
The BAOT and RCOT statutory accounts for the financial year 2022-2023 have been approved by Council at the Wednesday 17 April 2024 meeting.
We’re RCOT, the Royal College of Occupational Therapists. We’ve championed the profession and the people behind it for over 90 years, and today, we’re thriving with 36,000 members, dedicated to improving lives through occupational therapy.
We’re here to help achieve lifechanging breakthroughs – for our members, for the people they support and for society as a whole.
The latest report covers Friday 30 September 2022 until Wednesday 1 October 2023.
Our story
Our Annual Report tells the story of our evolving journey by taking you through:
- how members are being placed at the centre of the organisation
- our powerful advocacy and high-profile championing of our profession
- launching our game changing Workforce Strategy
- the work we're doing with healthcare commissioners, political leaders and others to position occupational therapy as a solution at the heart of health and social care
- how we're equipping the occupational therapy profession to support an increasingly diverse population through the launch of our Equity, Diversity and Belonging Strategy.
All of this builds the professional body that the UK’s occupational therapy community deserves.
Our members continue to support our shared ambitions, by getting involved and making the most of the opportunities we offer. Together, we’ll stay focused on reaching our ambitious vision – people everywhere valuing the life-changing power of occupational therapy.
