Paying for your ticket

When you book your ticket, you will be able to: 

  • pay by credit card 
  • request an invoice.

Booking cancellation policy

Notification of cancellation must be sent in writing to rcot@outsourcedevents.com.   

  • Cancellations received on or before Thursday 25 April 2024 are entitled to a full refund*. 
  • Cancellations received between Friday 26 April to Sunday 12 May 2024 inclusive are entitled to a 50% refund*. 
  • After Sunday 12 May 2024 no refund will be made but substitutions will be accepted in writing at any time.   

*All refunds will be made after Annual Conference and will be subject to a £30 handling fee. 

 

Some helpful guidance on choosing the correct ticket

Associate member

You’re an occupational therapy assistant, support worker, helper, technical instructor, reablement worker or part-time student, also engaged in work, who is working under the supervision of an occupational therapist for all or part of your work.  

Learner

You must be a student, see definition below, or an apprentice enrolled on an occupational therapy pre-registration programme. This also includes international students (non-UK nationals).   

To qualify for a student rate (member or non-member) your primary ‘occupation’ must be that of ‘Student’, and you must not be in any full-time paid employment. If you have any queries about this, please contact rcot@outsourcedevents.com.

Definition of a full-time student (www.gov.uk) – To count as a full-time student, your course must:  

  • last at least one calendar or academic year for at least 24 weeks out of the year 
  • and normally involves at least 21 hours of study, tuition or work experience per week during term-time. 

Lapsed member

You were a member up until Saturday 30 September 2022 but have not been a member since Sunday 1 October 2023 – RCOT's last membership renewal date. 

Unemployed former member

You have been a non-member for no more than the last two years – you were a member until Saturday 30 September 2022. 

You are currently unemployed.
