Our Fellowships and Honorary Fellowships recognise and celebrate those who have made outstanding contribitions to the occupational therapy profession. Every year we host our Celebration of Excellence event, where we highlight the incredible work that the recipients of these presigious awards have done. 

Over 120 Fellowships have been awarded since 1972 and we're pleased to share with you who they are.

2024

Dr Carolyn Dunford

Reader in Occupational Therapy at Brunel University London

In recognition of her dedication to evidence-based and occupation-centred practice, particularly in children’s occupational therapy, making a significant difference to the OT profession both nationally and internationally.

 

Professor Nicola Spalding

Professor Emeritus at the University of East Anglia and visiting Professor at Birmingham Newman University

In recognition of her incredible career and educational excellence being a testament to the power of continuous learning as a way of life.
